The Great Debate: High Ticket vs. Low Ticket Digital Products

Hey there, it’s Abigail! I’m excited to dive into a topic that’s been on my mind lately: whether to sell high ticket digital products or opt for the low ticket route. I’ve seen both options skyrocket and are very successful, and some that hardly take off the ground. It’s a big decision for you and your business, and I want to break it down for you in a simple and friendly way. Let’s do this, High Ticket vs. Low Ticket Digital Products: Abigail’s Choice. 🤝

The High Ticket Approach for Digital Products

First things first, I’ve been pondering this choice – high ticket or low ticket? On one hand, selling high ticket digital products can be super profitable. You get more cash from each sale (duh), and it’s easier to focus on making your products top-notch. Plus, your brand gets a classy image boost. More money = more value, right? Uhh, not quite, sadly.

There’s a catch. The market for high ticket digital products is smaller, and customers expect the moon (as they should), but I’ve seen countless courses, trainings, and “consultations” that include very basic information that doesn’t push the needle in your business. Womp womp. If you’re going to sell a high ticket digital product, you absolutely need to be providing top tier quality in your industry. So, it’s not a walk in the park. Sales take more time, and competition is fierce. Still, if you’re up for the challenge, it’s a route to consider.

The Low Ticket Approach for Digital Products

Now, let’s chat about low ticket digital products. These little gems cast a wider net and are my personal favorite, especially when you’re just starting out. More folks can afford them, and you’ll see sales happening faster. Customers have realistic expectations, which means you can breathe a bit easier. 📈

I sold my fist digital product, The Digital Product Stater Kit, to teach others how to conceptualize, build, and market their first digital product! It was and is still an absolute game changer if you want to work for yourself, build an audience and increase your income!

But, hold on, there’s a flip side. Profit margins per sale are lower, so you need to sell more to hit those financial goals. Marketing is intense, and customer support could keep you on your toes. And remember, your brand might not look as fancy.

Lucky for you, if you’re thinking a low ticket digital product is the way to go, I’ve created a TON of resources on how to brand and market yourself to drive sales. This training is called IG Growth for Sales. We go over several aspects to leveraging the Instagram algorithm and timeless marketing tactics that will boost your reach and sell more!

The Final Call

So, you have a tough choice to make. High ticket offers promise bigger bucks per sale, a posh customer base, and a swanky brand image. Low ticket products, on the other hand, are like the fast lane – they attract a broader crowd, give you quicker sales, and let you test the market waters.

In the end, it all boils down to your business goals, how you want to position yourself, and your willingness to face the challenges. Are you up for the high ticket adventure, or does the low ticket journey seem more your style? Whichever path you choose, success is out there, waiting for you to grab it, as long as it aligns with your vision and dedication.

So, what’s it going to be? High ticket digital products vs. low ticket digital products– you’ve got this! 😊
